NEW! Donate a Book from Our Online Wishlist

Girls Quest has joined Alibris.com Donate-A-Book Program to provide an easy way for our supporters and friends to fill our bookshelves at our SEED Program library.  The Donate-A-Book programs allows you to make a difference by directly benefiting Girls Quest in a tangible and lasting way.

We have created an online wishlist using the Alibris online catalog. Anyone can go to Alibris and purchase those items and have them directly shipped to us.

Your support is greatly needed: our library is a critical space at SEED. It is used not only for open reading and writing times, but also for some literacy classes and the poetry club/literary magazine at SEED.

84% of the 300 girls we serve come from low-income families, and they have limited access to books at home. Surveys from girls, staff, and parents indicate that our SEED program goes a long way towards engaging at-risk girls in the joys and challenges of reading, and a good library helps to fuel that new passion. Having a great library at our program —one that is current, welcoming, comfortable, and user-friendly—is in fact critical to its continued success.  We encourage you to visit our wishlist by clicking here.
